Volunteer With Us

If you have a passion for healthy food education, access and policy, volunteering with The Food Trust can be a rewarding way to get involved with our amazing programs, staff and communities in Philadelphia.

Whether you have just one evening to help out a Night Market, want to volunteer weekly at a farmers market or can spend some time in office supporting a program, you can become a part of our team.

Our volunteers commit to a variety of days and hours including evenings and weekends (especially in the spring, summer and early fall months). Our volunteers range from college students to working professionals and community groups.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Join us to learn about our new Ambassador Program!

The Food Trust is recruiting volunteers who are interested in becoming Community Nutrition Ambassadors. Ambassadors may work in a variety of settings throughout the Philadelphia region and Camden, NJ, including supermarkets, corner stores, farmers markets and schools.

You can apply to be an ambassador by filling out this form, or we encourage you to attend our free information session to learn more about the program.
