Established in 2014, The Food Trust, along with Congregation Rodeph Shalom staff and lay leaders, established a new farmers market adjacent to the congregation’s grounds at Broad and Green streets. At Common Ground, regional farmers and other local food purveyors will provide affordable, farm-fresh food to the community at large.
Not only that, but Common Ground also features regular appearances from public community institutions such as, the Stephen and Sandra Sheller 11th Street Family Health Center. This multifaceted market creates a connective framework that builds lasting relationships and opportunities relevant to the community.

Participants will embark on a 45-minute guided walking or biking tour of a nearby urban farm, followed by a tour of Common Ground (bicycles provided by Indego on select days).
