About the Market

The Food Trust is delighted to support Virtua Camden Farmers Market as part of the Food Trust's Food Buck Network. Virtua Hospital's vision for the farmers market is a place for community wellness and access to fresh, NJ-grown food. This market was established in 2009 and supported by the Campbell's Soup Company and a USDA Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive grant. It accepts, SNAP, WIC FMNP and S-FMNP and now has a food buck program in which shoppers using their Families First card can earn free fruits and vegetables.
