MARKET UPDATE

In advance of every market season, The Food Trust conducts a careful assessment of our complement of year-round farmers markets and seasonal farm stands, to ensure we are meeting the needs of our communities, working alongside strong partners, and aligning with our strategic priorities while remaining operationally and financially viable.

For the 2025 season, The Food Trust will be stepping away from our role as operators of the Northern Liberties Farmers Market, which runs every Saturday at Second Street and Germantown Avenue. Post Brothers will officially take over ownership of the market starting Saturday, April 5, so there should be no gap in operations. Moving forward, you can visit livepiazza.com/nolibs or follow @northernlibertiesfarmersmarket on Instagram for updates and information.

While The Food Trust will no longer have a presence at this farmers market, we are working with Hayday Farms to ensure that EBT/SNAP will still be accepted. We encourage our shoppers to continue supporting all of the wonderful vendors at Northern Liberties Farmers Market, as well as farmers markets across the city! As a reminder, The Food Trust’s website lists all farmers markets and farm stands operated by our organization, as well as the partner markets in our network; and the City of Philadelphia hosts a comprehensive map of all farmers market locations across the city where you can find hours, locations, currencies accepted and more.

Thank you for supporting local farmers and business owners!
