The Food Trust markets will be closed 12/24/25 – 1/1/26 to give our hardworking staff and vendors a well-deserved break to rest, recharge, and enjoy the holiday season. Clark Park on 1/3/2026 will be our first market of the new year.
At the peak of the growing season, The Food Trust’s Farmers Market Program operates a network of farmers markets and farm stands in Philadelphia, including Clark Park Farmers Market, Philly’s oldest year-round market, and Headhouse Farmers Market, one of the city’s largest outdoor markets.
All of our markets accept SNAP/EBT and P-EBT, Food Bucks (fruit and vegetable coupons), and WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks. Farmers and vendors accept cash, with many able to accept credit, debit, and pre-orders. The Food Trust Farmers Markets make fruits and vegetables more affordable to everyone.

The Food Trust operates three year-round, multi-vendor farmers markets in neighborhoods across Philadelphia. All of the following markets accept cash, EBT/P-EBT, Food Bucks and WIC/senior checks, and many vendors also accept credit/debit.

Update: After Overbrook Farmers Market’s 2024 closure due to a fire at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, our farmers have moved on to new opportunities, and the market will not reopen for the 2025 season. We remain dedicated to strengthening food access in the Overbrook community, and will continue to actively promote and support local food programs in the area.
We are proud to work with community partners, neighborhood associations and corporate entities to support our network of year-round markets. If you’re interested in sponsorship opportunities or in bringing a farmers market to your neighborhood, email farmersmarket@thefoodtrust.org.
In addition to our year-round farmers markets, The Food Trust operates smaller seasonal farm stands in neighborhoods where healthy food may otherwise be hard to access. Accepted currencies include cash, EBT/P-EBT, Food Bucks and WIC/senior checks, and many vendors also accept credit/debit.
The Food Trust supports a number of independently run farmers markets across the city in distributing and accepting Food Bucks, in addition to cash, EBT/P-EBT and WIC/senior checks:
